Class Size
The maximum number of students will be 20 per class. Class size is limited and is on a fist come, first served basis. Should there be a high demand for additional classes Advanced Coding Services will try to accommodate students by adding a class to schedule.

Orientation/Registration
Students must complete orientation/registration requirements in order to be considered an enrolled student. If a student is unable to attend the formal orientation/registration he/she must meet with Dorie Newton, Lorrie Price or Susan Ward, prior to the first day of class.

Instructors
Dorie Newton, CPC-I, AAPC approved PMCC Instructor (Flagstaff) has 15 years of physician medical coding and billing experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and OB-GYN practices. She has been teaching physician medical coding to physicians, PA's and students for the past 5 years. She is founder and past president of Southeastern Arizona Coders local AAPC chapter in Safford, Arizona. She holds Certificates of Proficiency in OB-GYN and Emergency Medicine.

Using her wealth of knowledge, light-hearted nature, and sense of humor she makes the students' learning experience fun and delightful.

Lorrie Price, CPC-I, CPC-H, AAPC approved PMCC Instructor (Phoenix) has been in healthcare for the past 30 years in all aspects of physician medical practices. Her clinical background includes 10 years as a medical assistant in multispecialty practices. She is currently the Administrator/Regional Coder for VHS Outpatient Clinics overseeing 26 outpatient clinics billing and coding compliance. She has been teaching physician and facility medical coding for the past 3 years.

Her students will enjoy the ways in which she can share her passion for coding and her ability to engage her students in learning.

Susan Ward, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, CPC-E/M approved PMCC Instructor (Phoenix) has been in the healthcare industry for over 18 years. Working in many aspects of coding, billing and practice management Susan has a passion for teaching and loves Evaluation and Management and Integumentary. She finds that she has a soft spot in her heart for Family Practice. In addition to being the Coding and Billing Manager in her current job, Susan is also an AAPC Workshop Presenter. Susan loves to teach with humor.

Kevin Solinsky, CPC-I, AAPC approved PMCC Instructor (Phoenix) has over 25 years in healthcare, first working clinically as a paramedic and both on an ambulance and then 12 years working in the emergency department. He has been teaching in healthcare for 16 years and has taught the PMCC program for the last 5 years. He is the CEO/President of Healthcare Coding Consultants, LLC. He is 2008 President of the Grand Canyon Coders, Central Phoenix local chapter of the AAPC.

He is a vibrant speaker, who brings real life medical experiences to every class.
