Lynn M Hosking, BS, CPC, CPC-I, AAPC approved PMCC Instructor, has over 20 years of coding experience in most areas/subspecialties. Prior to becoming involved in the healthcare industry, she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Education. Lynn has been involved in the teaching and mentoring of coders, physicians, administrators throughout her healthcare career. She is also the co-founder and past President of the Prescott Chapter for the AAPC. Lynn is currently working as an Independent Consultant for various clients throughout the Country.
Her students will enjoy the many stories and experiences she brings to class keeping it entertaining and informative.
Robert (Bobby) Kiesecker, CPC, CPC-I, CCC approved PMCC Instructor, began medical coding when he was 17 while attending high school. He worked for a local billing office were his responsibilities ranged from simple tasks like getting coffee to the more challenging ICD-9 code selection. He was then given an opportunity at a local cardiologist office where he embarked on learning about CPT codes and especially cardiac catheterization.
After 4 years of service with the cardiology office. He studied and achieved his CPC credential. Additionally he became the first Certified Cardiology Coder (CCC) in Arizona. Since that he has done consulting and education nationally and was the education officer for the Phoenix chapter of the AAPC in 2009. He is currently employed with Scottsdale Healthcare where he works as a Coder providing education to the doctors and staff as well as coding for a Cardiology Group.
Dr. Daniel C. Mosbrucker, has over twenty years of experience as an instructor. His areas of instruction include; Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Language of Medicine. His ability to take a very complicated subject, break it down into component parts relate those parts to every day terms has helped many students get over their fear of learning these advanced subjects. He has been recognized by students and his peers as an outstanding instructor, a mentor to students and a contributor to the advancement of his field. For the last ten years he has taught in a Medical Billing and Coding department where he was able to related his field of experience to the students in that area of study.
Dorie Newton, CPC-I, AAPC approved PMCC Instructor, has 15 years of physician medical coding and billing experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and OB-GYN practices. She has been teaching physician medical coding to physicians, PA's and students for the past 5 years. She is founder and past president of Southeastern Arizona Coders local AAPC chapter in Safford, Arizona. She holds Certificates of Proficiency in OB-GYN and Emergency Medicine.
Using her wealth of knowledge, light-hearted nature, and sense of humor she makes the students' learning experience fun and delightful.
Jill Tom, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, CCP-P, PCS approved PMCC Instructor, has been in the healthcare industry for over 17 years. Her background is working with small and large physician groups and has worked in many aspects of coding, billing & compliance. Jill is a passionate mentor for students and enjoys helping others with coding & billing. Jill also is experienced with HIPAA regulations and compliance as it relates to physician group billing & coding.
In addition to working full time for a group of vascular surgeons Jill is an Ingenix Advisory Board Member as well as an officer in her local AAPC Chapter.
Susan Ward, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, CEMC, CPCD, CPRC approved PMCC Instructor, has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. Working in many aspects of coding, billing and practice management, Susan has enthusiasm for teaching and loves Evaluation and Management and the Integumentary System. Susan's love of education shows with her passion to teach and help others understand coding and reimbursement. In addition to working full time for a Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon, Susan is also a workshop presenter for the AAPC and presents for local chapters all over the country. Her classroom is always filled with laughter and learning.
